Remo APC Consensus Candidate, Hon. Funmi Efuwape (FAECO) For MHR, Engages Remo Stakeholders, Strengthens Grassroots Support Ahead Of 2027 Reps Bid

In a strategic move to consolidate party unity and deepen grassroots engagement, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Consensus Candidate for the House of Representatives, Remo Federal Constituency, 2027, Hon. (Mrs.) Funmilayo Efuwape, popularly known as FAECO, on Friday, May 1st, 2026, embarked on a high-level consultation visit to key party stakeholders across Remo North and Sagamu Local Government Areas.
The consultative meetings, held at the APC Party Secretariats in both local governments, brought together respected elders, party leaders, executives, and influential stakeholders. The visits were aimed at fostering stronger relationships, seeking guidance, and building consensus ahead of her legislative ambition to represent the people of Remo Federal Constituency at the National Assembly in 2027.
FAECO and her delegation were warmly received by the APC Local Government Party Chairmen in both Remo North and Sagamu, alongside other party officials. In their separate remarks, the party chairmen commended FAECO’s unwavering dedication, resilience, and longstanding contributions to the growth and stability of the APC within Ogun State. They further acknowledged her impactful role in community development and her consistent efforts in uplifting lives across Remo land.
Describing her as a committed party stalwart and a credible leader, the stakeholders expressed confidence in her capacity to deliver quality representation and effective legislative service if elected.
In her address at both gatherings, Hon. Efuwape expressed deep appreciation for the warm reception and words of encouragement. She emphasized the importance of unity, collective responsibility, and inclusive leadership in achieving sustainable development. FAECO humbly sought the continued support, endorsement, and blessings of party leaders and stakeholders, pledging to represent the interests of the people with integrity, competence, and dedication.
Her entourage featured prominent figures and respected personalities within the political and social landscape of Remo, including Hon. Daisi Akintan, Alhaji Dauda Oloku, Pa. Ade Anade, PA. Ajayi, Mrs. Erinle, Elder Erinlakusa, Otunba Akile Danku, Alhaji Lukman Adunmo, Omooba Adeniyi Adesola Idowu (NIYIFOLA), among other distinguished leaders and influencers.
The consultation visits mark a significant step in FAECO’s political journey, signaling her readiness to engage widely, build trust, and mobilize support across all strata of the constituency as the 2027 elections draw closer.
