Senator Adeola Yayi Wins Fresh Backing As Thousands Of Ogun Taxi Drivers Endorse His 2027 Governorship Bid
The 2027 All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Ogun State, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as YAYI, on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, received a strong show of support from thousands of taxi drivers across the state during a meeting at H3 Event Centre, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta.
The gathering provided an opportunity for the APC governorship candidate to engage directly with members of the transport sector, as the taxi drivers publicly expressed their support for his aspiration to govern Ogun State in 2027. In a show of solidarity, the drivers proudly identified themselves as “YAYI Taxi Drivers” and pledged to utilise their vehicles and mobility platforms to promote the ideals, programmes and political vision of YAYI and the All Progressives Congress across communities in the state.
