‎Social Media Influencer Mandy Kiss Appointed Brand Ambassador For Lagos State’s Kick Against Drug Abuse Initiative

‎Ayomiposi Oluwadahunsi, popularly known as Mandy Kiss, has been officially appointed as a brand ambassador for the Lagos State Kick Against Drug and Substance Abuse (LASKADA). The announcement was made during a public event organized by LASKADA, where Lagos Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Mr. Mobolaji Ogunlende, presented her with the ambassadorship.

‎In a viral video shared by X user #dammiedammie35, Commissioner Ogunlende emphasized the urgent need for community involvement in combating substance misuse. “Drugs are a pandemic affecting our streets, our society, and our community. The government cannot fight this battle alone. We need partners who can reach as many people as possible, and Mandy Kiss, with her follower count of 402,000, is well-positioned to help us spread this message,” he stated.

‎During the ceremony, Ogunlende formally conferred the title upon Mandy Kiss, encouraging the public to join the anti-drug campaign. “Say no to drugs,” he affirmed, highlighting the importance of collaboration in addressing this pressing issue.

‎The announcement comes on the heels of widespread attention due to Mandy Kiss’s controversial plans to stage a marathon sexual event involving 100 men in a single day on September 30, aimed at setting a Guinness World Record. However, the Guinness World Records organization has clarified that it does not monitor or endorse such activities as eligible for record-setting.

‎While Mandy Kiss later claimed her declaration was intended as a joke, it incited public backlash, prompting some to call for disciplinary action from Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

‎At the event, Ogunlende expressed hope that Mandy Kiss would leverage her influence to promote the anti-drug message throughout Lagos. “Everyone has a past; nobody is perfect. As a brand ambassador for LASKADA, we anticipate that she can reach every corner of Lagos to help us tackle this epidemic,” he said.
