Remo APC Consensus Candidate For House Of Rep., Hon. Oluwafunmilayo Efuwape, Storms Ikenne LG, Deepens Grassroots Consultations Ahead Of 2027

The Remo All Progressives Congress (APC) Consensus Candidate for the House of Representatives, Remo Federal Constituency, Hon. Funmi Efuwape (FAECO), on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, continued her strategic grassroots engagement with a high-level consultation visit to Ikenne Local Government.
The visit, which forms part of her ongoing efforts to consolidate party unity and broaden stakeholder inclusion ahead of the 2027 general elections, witnessed a significant gathering of party leaders, elders, and key stakeholders within the Ikenne APC structure.
Hon. Efuwape first met with prominent APC leaders and stakeholders at the residence of respected party elder, Pa. Sodiyan. The meeting provided a platform for robust and forward-looking discussions centered on the socio-political and economic advancement of Remo land. Deliberations focused on strengthening party cohesion, enhancing effective representation, and charting a sustainable pathway for inclusive growth across the constituency.
In her address, Hon. Efuwape expressed deep appreciation for the warm reception accorded her and emphasized the importance of unity, loyalty, and collective commitment in achieving electoral success. The consultation train thereafter moved to the Ikenne APC Secretariat, where Hon. Efuwape engaged directly with local government party executives. The interactive session allowed for deeper engagement on party structure, mobilization strategies, and strengthening grassroots participation. Party executives, in their responses, commended her humility, accessibility, and clear vision for effective representation.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Efuwape reaffirmed her commitment to inclusive leadership, promising to carry every segment of the constituency along while leveraging her experience and network to attract developmental opportunities to Remo land.
