Eid-al-Adha 2026: Remo APC House Of Representatives Candidate, Hon. Funmilayo Efuwape (FAECO) Extends Ileya Palliatives Across Remo Federal Constituency

In a remarkable demonstration of compassion, grassroots leadership, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people, the APC House of Representatives Candidate for Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency, Hon. Funmilayo Efuwape, popularly known as FAECO, on Tuesday, May 26th, 2026, distributed rams, foodstuff packages, and cash support to several Muslim Elders, Leaders, Stakeholders, and faithful members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the Remo Federal Constituency in celebration of this year’s Eid-al-Adha (Ileya) festival. The humanitarian gesture, which has continued to attract commendations from party members and residents alike, was carried out across the three local government areas that make up the constituency; Ikenne, Sagamu, and Remo North as part of FAECO’s continuous efforts to identify with the people and support families during festive periods.
Speaking during the distribution exercise, Hon. Funmilayo Efuwape reaffirmed her dedication to the welfare, unity, and progress of the APC family and the entire Remo Federal Constituency. She noted that the Ileya season symbolizes sacrifice, love, and compassion, values which she believes should be reflected through acts of kindness and support for the people.
In further demonstration of her generosity and commitment to grassroots mobilization, Hon. FAECO also donated two bags of rice to each of the 35 APC wards across the Remo Federal Constituency, describing the gesture as her personal contribution towards ensuring that party faithfuls celebrate the Eid-al-Adha festival with joy and happiness.
Party leaders, Muslim elders, and beneficiaries who received the items expressed profound appreciation to the APC chieftain for her consistent show of care, humility, and people-oriented leadership style. Many described her as a dependable and compassionate leader whose actions continue to resonate with the hopes and aspirations of the people at the grassroots.
