Remo 2027: Hon. Funmilayo Efuwape (FAECO) Engages Remo Stakeholders, Pays Courtesy Visit To The Collectives Club

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidate for the House of Representatives, representing Sagamu/Ikenne/Remo North Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections, Hon. (Mrs.) Funmilayo Efuwape, popularly known as FAECO, on Saturday, May 23rd, 2026, paid a courtesy visit and held an interactive session with members of The Collectives Club of Remo at the club’s Secretariat located along Oba Erinwole Awolesi Road, GRA, Sagamu, Ogun State. The engagement formed part of ongoing grassroots consultations and strategic interactions aimed at strengthening community relationships and discussing developmental pathways for Remo Land.
Accompanying Hon. FAECO during the visit were Hon. (Omooba) Damilare Mohammed Bello; the APC House of Assembly Candidate for Sagamu I (Offin) State Constituency, Hon. Olapeju Abiodun Ayodele, candidate for Sagamu II (Makun) State Constituency; Omooba Dr. Adeniyi Adesola Idowu, FEIPA, Senior Special Assistant to the Ogun State Governor; and Hon. Kazeem Sonuga (Omo Ebute), former Councillor of Ward 12, Sagamu. The visiting team was warmly received by the leadership and members of the club in an atmosphere of unity and mutual respect.
Speaking during the interactive session, Hon. Funmilayo Efuwape expressed profound appreciation to the executives and members of The Collectives Club of Remo for their warm reception and hospitality. She emphasized the importance of dialogue, inclusiveness, and grassroots participation in building sustainable development across Remo Land, while reaffirming her commitment to quality representation, youth empowerment, community advancement, and people-oriented leadership.
Also speaking at the meeting, Hon. Damilare Mohammed Bello and Hon. Olapeju Abiodun Ayodele commended the club for creating a platform that promotes civic engagement, political interaction, and collective progress within the community. They stressed the need for unity among stakeholders and citizens as the region continues to pursue meaningful growth and democratic development.
The meeting also featured notable personalities including the Odemo of Isara Remo, His Royal Highness Alaiyeluwa Oba Peter Oluwole Ogunbayo (Otete III); Prince Lanre Oyemade; alongside the executives and members of The Collectives Club. Discussions during the session centered on community development, grassroots mobilization, political participation, and collaborative efforts towards advancing the socio-economic progress of Remo Land.
