APC Stalwart In Odogbolu Local Government, Otunba Dr. Adebayo Odunowo, Joined All Muslims In Celebrating The Annual Eid-ul-Adha Festival

In his goodwill message to party faithful and to every Muslim brother and sister across the length and breadth of Ogun State, Otunba Dr. Adebayo Odunowo extended his warmest and most heartfelt felicitations to them. He urged them to be inspired by the values – sacrifice, compassion, unity, and generosity sacrifice, compassion, unity, and generosity – that this great celebration embodies.

Otunba Odunowo noted that this sacred festival of sacrifice is a powerful reminder of the unshakeable faith and absolute submission of our great patriarch, Prophet Ibrahim (AS), who demonstrated the highest form of devotion to Allah (SWT). And as we commemorate His enduring legacy, Otunba Odunowo urged Muslims to find within themselves the courage to surrender their ego, their pride, and their worldly attachments in obedience to the Divine Will.

Otunba Odunowo urged all the good people of Odogbolu Local Government and Ogun State in general to use this period to exercise compassion, love and spreading the goodwill message and teaching of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). To the party Muslims faithful, he encouraged them to rekindle the family bonds by embracing parental guidelines with respect, visiting relatives and friends to promote societal peace and harmony; urging all to shun anger and violence, and seek solace in life through compassionate relationships.

While praying to Almighty Allah to forgive our shortcomings, and to accept our prayers and sacrifice, Otunba Odunowo prayed for Ogun State pilgrims who are currently on holy pilgrimage in the blessed city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia. He prayed that may Almighty Allah accept their Hajj, grant them the coveted status of Hajj Mabrur, and return them safely to their families renewed in spirit, fortified in faith, and enriched in wisdom. Ameen.
