2027: Ogun Artisans Throw Weight Behind Remo APC Flagbearer, Hon. Funmilayo Efuwape (FAECO), Assure Massive Grassroots Support

The Ogun State Artisans Council has declared its support for the House of Representatives aspiration of Hon. Funmilayo Efuwape (FAECO), APC candidate for Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement came during a courtesy visit by the council’s executive members, led by Chairman Comrade Anthony Ayodele, to Hon. Efuwape’s residence in Sagamu on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
Speaking on behalf of the artisans, Comrade Ayodele praised FAECO’s longstanding commitment to grassroots development and empowerment initiatives, describing her as a worthy representative of the people. He noted that the council was convinced of her capacity to deliver effective representation and facilitate meaningful development across the constituency.
The artisans’ leader further pledged the association’s full support for her candidacy, assuring her of the readiness of members across the constituency to mobilize for her success at the polls.
Responding, Hon. Efuwape expressed gratitude for the visit and endorsement, stating that the confidence reposed in her would further strengthen her dedication to public service. She reiterated her commitment to pursuing policies and programmes that would promote youth and women empowerment, economic growth, and sustainable development throughout the constituency.
The meeting concluded with fruitful discussions on community development, strategic partnerships, and opportunities for greater collaboration between the artisans and stakeholders in advancing the progress of Remo Federal Constituency.
