National Youth Council of Nigeria, Sagamu Branch (NYCN) disassociate self from what we call, planned riotting and stealing of properties and NOT A PROTEST in any form.

The barbaric attitude of those involved in the riotting is condemned with all totality by NYCN. The apex Youth body for all other youths organisations condemned and dis owned self from the urgly act.

I want to implore our youths to stand against any form of protest that will lead to distructions of properties in the future, simply because if we continue to destroy our own properties then we are distroying our own community.

However, HRM Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi CFR have issued a strong royal statement to all the Sagamites to calm the situation down and also said that they are in touch with the Federal Govt.

In view of the above, the entire Sagamu Youth body sadly sympathy with the attacked organisations (Banks, IBEDC, Sagamu LG and so on ) who must have lost alot of money running into millions during the riot.

On this note, I want to appricate all the concerned stakeholders who quickly way into action to ensure that no single life was lost and normalcy returned back to our land. I will also like to reiterate that the security agencies have commenced to investige the act so let’s go back to our daily businesses and we pray that such bad situation does not return back to our land.
