Akarigbo Receives New Sagamu Area Commander, Reaffirms Commitment To Peace And Security
His Royal Majesty, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remo Land, has received the newly appointed Sagamu Area Commander of the Nigeria Police Force, ACP Salako R. Olugbenga, alongside other officers of the Command, during a courtesy visit to the palace.
The visit provided an opportunity for the traditional ruler and the police leadership to engage on critical matters concerning the peace, security, safety, and overall well-being of the people of Sagamu and Remo Land.
Welcoming the new Area Commander to Sagamu, His Royal Majesty acknowledged the important responsibility attached to his new assignment and expressed confidence in the Command’s commitment to maintaining law and order, protecting lives and property, and promoting peaceful coexistence within the community.

He therefore encouraged community leaders, residents, and other stakeholders across Remo Land to continue to cooperate with the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies by providing useful information, supporting security initiatives, and promoting peace and vigilance within their respective communities.
Oba Ajayi also expressed his readiness to support initiatives aimed at strengthening security and fostering a safe and peaceful environment where residents, businesses, and communities can thrive.
The courtesy visit further underscored the importance of sustained collaboration between the traditional institution and security agencies in safeguarding the people and preserving the peace and stability of Sagamu and Remo Land.
