The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Sagamu Branch, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Hon. Oriyomi Onanuga, popularly known as Ijaya. Ijaya, who served as the Deputy Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, representing the Remo Federal Constituency, passed away on January 15, 2025, after a brief illness.
Comrade Oluwole Aduroja, Coordinator of the NYCN Sagamu, described Ijaya as a visionary leader and a pillar of strength and inspiration to the youth and the community. “Her unwavering commitment to the growth and development of Sagamu and the entire Remo Federal Constituency will forever be remembered,” he said.
