Honoring A Legacy: IDA Chairman Chief (Omo’ba) Sikiru Kalejaiye Expresses Condolences To The Late Rt. Hon. Adewunmi Onanuga’s Family

Chief Omoba Sikiru Kalejaiye, Chairman of the Ijagba Development Association (IDA), has extended heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Rt. Hon. Otunba Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga. In his tribute, Chief Kalejaiye recognized the late Honourable as a remarkable icon of youth empowerment, whose dedication and commitment to fostering the potential of young people in the community was truly inspirational.

Chief Kalejaiye also offered prayers for the Onanuga family during this difficult time and encouraged all youth in Ijagba to participate in the candlelight procession scheduled for today in Sagamu. He emphasized that the late Honourable, affectionately known as Ijaya, contributed significantly more than many realized and deserves a burial befitting her esteemed legacy.

The late Rt. Hon. Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga served as the Deputy Chief Whip of the 10th National Assembly, representing the Remo Federal Constituency at the National House of Representatives. Her dedication and impactful work will be remembered by many, and her passing marks a profound loss for the community.
