‎Hon. Funmilayo Efuwape (FAECO) Grieves Over Passing Of APC Southwest Women Leader, Chief Mrs. Shakirat Adesanya (Yeye Abiyamo) 

Hon. (Mrs.) Funmilayo Efuwape, widely known as FAECO and the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the House of Representatives representing Sagamu/Ikenne/Remo North Federal Constituency in the 2027 elections, has expressed profound sorrow over the death of Chief Mrs. Shakirat Yetunde Adesanya, the APC Southwest Women Leader.

‎Chief Mrs. Adesanya, popularly referred to as Yeye Abiyamo, passed away at the age of 63, leaving a void in the political and social fabric of the region. Her demise has elicited an outpouring of grief from colleagues, supporters, and community leaders who lauded her decades of service and unwavering dedication to the advancement of women in politics.

Efuwape described the late matriarch as a pillar of strength, a mentor to countless women, and a tireless advocate for grassroots development. “Yeye Abiyamo was more than a party leader; she was a mother, a visionary, and a formidable force for unity within the APC family.
