Sagamu Resident With Disability Appeals For A Life-Changing Wheelchair Assistance To Regain Mobility

Mr. Matanmi Ogunyanwo, a resident of No. 10 Ashimolowo Street, Ajaka Makun, Sagamu, area of Ogun State, is reaching out for help as he seeks a wheelchair to improve his mobility and quality of life. Due to a mobility impairment, Mr. Ogunyanwo spends much of his time seated on ground at home and finds it increasingly difficult to navigate his surroundings.

His appeal was brought to the attention of Genesis Media Hub on February 6th 2025, by his relative, Mrs. Oluwaseun, who highlighted the daily struggles he faces in walking with a lame leg. “The provision of a wheelchair would significantly reduce his stress, pains and allow him to move around more freely,” she expressed.

Mr. Ogunyanwo is calling on philanthropic individuals and organizations in Sagamu, Remo, Ogun State, and across Nigeria to assist him in obtaining a wheelchair. He believes that with this aid, he can regain a sense of independence and improve his overall well-being.
