Niyifola Champions Grassroots Politics As He Supports Community Elders With Cash Gifts In Sagamu Ward Meeting

In a significant show of commitment to both grassroots politics and community welfare, Omooba (Dr.) Adeniyi Adesola Idowu, prominently known as Niyifola, attended the general meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ward 14 in Sagamu Local Government Area, Ogun State, on Friday, August 5, 2025. As a philanthropic entrepreneur and seasoned politician eyeing the Ogun State House of Assembly membership to represent the Sagamu II (Makun) Constituency in the 2027 general election, Niyifola’s presence underscored his dedication to the principles of the APC and the importance of engaging with the local community.
During the meeting, Niyifola expressed heartfelt gratitude to the party’s elders, leaders, chairman, executives, and devoted members for their unwavering loyalty to the APC. He emphasized the significance of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise, urging attendees to encourage their relatives and neighbors to register for their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs). “Victory at the polls can only be achieved with voters’ cards. Let us mobilize our communities effectively,” he stated.

In line with his commitment to community service, Niyifola also demonstrated his generosity through his humanitarian initiative, #PuttingYouFirst. He continued his monthly support for vulnerable elderly members of the ward by distributing cash gifts of ₦10,000 each to 20 deserving beneficiaries, a promise he first made in July. Addressing the recipients, he remarked, “It is important to show respect and care for our elders. I am proud to give back to those who have paved the way for us in society.”
The beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt appreciation for Niyifola’s kind gesture, offering their prayers for his continued success. Their gratitude showcased the deep impact of his commitment to uplifting the elderly in the community.
The meeting saw a robust turnout, with the presence of the party chairman, secretary, women’s leader, youth leader, local government appointees, and party executives. Party faithful from diverse corners of the ward gathered in large numbers, a testament to the support for Niyifola and the unity within the ward.
