Yayi’s Emergence As Ogun APC Consensus Gubernatorial Candidate: Emperor Oyen Applauds Party Unity, Strategic Leadership, And Path To Victory

Prince Stephen Olumide Ogundeko, popularly known as Emperor Oyen, has extended warm congratulations to Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi) on his emergence as the consensus gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State for the forthcoming general elections.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Emperor Oyen described Senator Adeola’s emergence as well-deserved, noting that it reflects his outstanding performance, unwavering dedication to public service, and impactful legislative representation. He particularly highlighted Adeola’s landmark achievements in Ogun West, as well as his inclusive leadership approach, which has positively resonated across Ogun Central and Ogun East Senatorial Districts.
Emperor Oyen expressed strong optimism that Senator Adeola’s growing popularity and proven track record have strategically positioned the APC for a decisive victory at the polls. According to him, the consensus candidacy underscores the party’s readiness to consolidate on its achievements and deliver more dividends of democracy to the people of Ogun State.
He further commended the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, for his exemplary leadership and collaborative engagement with key stakeholders in reaching what he described as a commendable and unifying decision. He noted that the process reflects the party’s unity, foresight, and collective commitment to the continued development of the state.
“I also acknowledge and commend the teeming supporters of Senator Adeola across the state for their steadfast loyalty and unwavering commitment to the success of the APC. Their dedication exemplifies true party spirit and reinforces our collective resolve to achieve victory,” he stated.
While celebrating this significant milestone, Emperor Oyen respectfully urged party leaders to consider Governor Dapo Abiodun for a senatorial position, in recognition of his contributions to the growth and stability of the state. He also called on stakeholders and party faithful to support his aspiration to emerge as the APC candidate for the House of Representatives, representing Ikenne/Remo North/Sagamu Federal Constituency, emphasizing the need to uphold the collective interest of the people.
