‎Akarigbo Of Remo Land Installs High Chief Adewale Adenuga As Apena Akarigbo Of Offin

‎In a grand ceremony held at the Akarigbo Palace, in Ita Oba, Sagamu, Ogun State, the Akarigbo of Remo Land, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, installed High Chief Adewale Adenuga as the Apena Akarigbo of Offin, Sagamu, on November 5th, 2025. The event was a testament to the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the Remo Kingdom, and a significant milestone in the life of High Chief Adenuga.

‎The coronation ceremony was attended by several royal monarchs from across Sagamu and Remo Land, dignitaries, traditional chiefs, families, and well-wishers, who gathered to witness the historic event and pay homage to the new Apena Akarigbo. The presence of these esteemed guests underscored the importance of the occasion and the significance of the position being conferred on High Chief Adenuga.

‎In his address, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi congratulated High Chief Adenuga on his appointment and charged him to uphold the values and traditions of the Remo Kingdom. The Akarigbo, who is also the 19th paramount ruler of Remo Land, emphasized the importance of unity, peace, and progress in the community, and urged the new Apena Akarigbo to work towards achieving these goals.

‎High Chief Adewale Adenuga, in his acceptance speech, expressed gratitude to the Akarigbo and the people of Remo Land for the honour bestowed on him. He pledged to serve the community with dedication and commitment, and to uphold the traditions and values of the Remo Kingdom.
