Alowonle Mourns Ijaya: “A Shining Star Has Fallen, Leaving Indelible Marks On Our Hearts”
Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle has expressed deep shock and sadness over the demise of Rt. Hon. Otunba (Dr.) Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga, popularly known as Ijaya. Ijaya, a renowned politician and dedicated public servant, was the deputy Chief Whip of the 10th National Assembly, representing Remo Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives.

Alowonle, who shared a close familial bond with Ijaya, as they both hail from Makun, Sagamu, described her passing as a tremendous loss to the entire Remo community, Ogun State, and the nation at large. He extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, particularly her children, fellow legislative members, and political associates.”
