Ijagba Community In Sagamu Grieves As High Chief Tajudeen Sunday Amusan Passes Away At 76

The Ijagba Community is enveloped in deep sorrow following the death of High Chief Tajudeen Sunday Amusan, the esteemed Odofin of Ijagba, who also held the revered title of Oba Isegun of Ijagba Land. Chief Amusan passed away in the early hours of today, Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the age of 76, after a brief illness. His departure has left an indelible void in the hearts of his family, friends, and the entire community.
High Chief Amusan was a pillar of strength and wisdom in Ijagba, known for his dedication to public service, traditional leadership, and community development. Throughout his lifetime, he worked tirelessly to uplift his community, promoting peace, cultural heritage, and unity among the people of Ijagba. As the Treasurer of the Sagamu Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Comrade Afusat has always been actively involved in uplifting youth initiatives, a mission undoubtedly inspired by her father. Ologe and her siblings have received an outpouring of love and support from fellow community members during this challenging time. Many have taken to social media to express their grief and share fond memories of High Chief Amusan, reflecting on his impactful legacy.
