Consultation And Consolidation: Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI) Meets All Ogun APC Candidates, Charts Path For 2027 Victory

The Ogun State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 General Election, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI), on Saturday, June 20th, 2026, convened a strategic consultation meeting with all APC candidates across the state as part of efforts to strengthen party unity and consolidate preparations ahead of the forthcoming elections.
The high-level session provided a platform for robust deliberations on campaign strategies, grassroots mobilization, party cohesion, and other critical issues aimed at ensuring a successful outing for the APC in the 2027 polls. Participants reaffirmed their commitment to working collectively towards sustaining the party’s dominance and delivering victory at all levels.
Among the notable candidates in attendance were Senator Salisu Afolabi Salisu, APC candidate for Ogun Central Senatorial District; Hon. Olumide Osoba, candidate for Obafemi Owode/Abeokuta North/Odeda Federal Constituency; Hon. Afolabi Afuape; Rt. Hon. Daisi Elemide, Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly; and the Remo House of Representatives candidate; Hon. Funmilayo Efuwape (FAECO) alongside other candidates contesting for seats in the National Assembly, and the Ogun State House of Assembly across the state.
Speaking during the meeting, Senator Adeola emphasized the importance of unity, strategic coordination, and collective responsibility among party candidates and stakeholders. He noted that the APC remains focused on building on its achievements in Ogun State while presenting a people-centered agenda that reflects the aspirations of residents across all constituencies.
The consultation ended with a renewed resolve by the candidates to intensify engagement with party members and the electorate, strengthen grassroots structures, and work in harmony to secure a resounding victory for the APC in the 2027 General Election.
