Remo Bye-elections: Oyeleke Folajuwon Oluwole Storms Sagamu APC Secretariat In Grand Style, Meet Party Executives

In a significant gathering on April 17, 2025, Oyeleke Folajuwon Oluwole, a leading aspirant for the Federal House of Representatives, stormed the Party Secretariat of Sagamu APC in grand style to meet with the All Progressives Congress (APC) executives of Sagamu Local Government, as well as party faithful, to officially declare his intentions to represent the Remo Constituency.
Initially scheduled as a separate meeting, Oyeleke’s engagement with the ward chairmen and ward excos of Sagamu was seamlessly merged into the general gathering, making it a comprehensive and inclusive event that brought together key grassroots leaders and stakeholders under one roof.

Welcoming Oyeleke to the party general meeting, the Women Leader of Sagamu APC, Alhaja Rukayat Ogunubi commended his boldness and youthful energy and stressed the importance of peaceful coexistence among fellow aspirants. “It is essential that we support one another while pursuing our political ambitions,” she said.

Oyeleke’s delegation included a prominent leader from his political zone, Ward 7 (Ijagba), Leader Maja, who urged party leaders, elders, and stakeholders to back Oyeleke’s mandate. “He is a man of integrity, tested and trusted to deliver the dividends of democracy for our people,” Maja insisted.

During the meeting, the Remo North APC Party Secretary, Mrs. Motunrayo Olawuni, endorsed Oyeleke as the ideal candidate to represent the constituency, citing his strong background in Sagamu and Remo North LG. “Don’t be fooled by empty promises or unfair tactics; the mandate belongs to Sagamu, and Oyeleke is the right choice,” she stated.

Oyeleke addressed the attendees, expressing gratitude for their unwavering support and loyalty to the APC. He praised the outstanding performance of His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, acknowledging the strides made in Ogun State. He outlined his commitment to serve the Remo people and shared a comprehensive seven-point agenda aimed at fostering community development.

Closing the meeting, Mr. Waisu Saula, part of Oyeleke’s delegation, emphasized the importance of unity in achieving their objective. He appealed for support from all party members, assuring them they would not regret backing Oyeleke’s aspirations.
