Nigeria is divided into 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, where the country’s capital, Abuja, is located.
At independence, the country was divided into four regions: Northern, Eastern, Western and Sound Nigeria.
Nigeria is a big country filled with hospitable people. We all know it’s hard to trust anyone in this country but we all can tell for a fact that we have experienced the generosity of a total stranger at some point in one state or the other before.
Personally, out of 36 states in Nigeria, I’ve been to 28 states and all of which have a uniquely awesome experience That makes me proud to be a Nigerian.
