The National Association of Remo Student’s (NARS) held their official meeting yesterday, Saturday 30th, November 2023, at the Ewusi Palace, Makun Sagamu, with the presence of progressive Remonians students across the nation.
The meeting which begins at 3:15 p.m, had it’s opening prayer stated by the led converner of the meeting Comrade Shittu Waheed, popularly known as Miller, and immediately the second stanza of the National Anthem, Ogun State anthem and Aluta Anthem follows, ably led by Comr. Popoola Abdullah.
Introduction and recognition of leaders and students who attended was done for familiarity purpose, in attendance are:

Word of admonition was done by the Ag. Coordinator of National Youth Council of Nigeria, Sagamu Branch, Comr. Oluwole Aduroja, where he welcomed everyone to the remarkable and historical gathering, stating we should all be ready for the task ahead, be very diligent and upright and be good representatives of the association.
In his speech, Comr. Asoro Sodiq talked about the state of the nation about education where he applauds the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu -GCFR, for appointing Hon. Sunday Asefon as his SSA on Student Engagement and while noting the Students loan are what all students should be looking forward to.
Without taking much time the main order of the day begun with brief introduction about NASS National Body coming back to limelight January 2024 and how far we have gone so far about it.
During the meeting, the audience used the medium to celebrate the birthday anniversary of one of the NARS Leader and a former President of Sagamu Youth, who was also presence in the meeting, Comr. Kayode Segun Okeowo, popularly known as Ikenga.
Thereafter, the motion for the adoption and nomination of the interim seven man committee and three sub-committee that will lead the affairs of the association commence, while Ikenga was chosen to conduct the nomination exercise.

After the announcement and commencement of the executives body to pilot the affairs of the association till the NARS NATIONAL CONVENTION, an oath of office took place immediately with words of encouragement from all leaders present.
The event which was reported by Genesis Media House, had the meeting ended by 4:30 p.m with a closing prayer from Comr. Asoro Sodiq, the Publicity Secretary of the Association.
