Ogun Government Celebrates Kayode Adewale: A Global Teaching Luminary And Education Ambassador

Ogun State, renowned as Nigeria’s education capital, proudly honors Kayode Adewale, a remarkable educator who has made it to the prestigious list of the Top 50 teachers worldwide in the Global Teacher Prize. This esteemed award, backed by the Varkey Foundation and UNESCO, recognizes exceptional educators who have made significant contributions to transforming lives through education.

Kayode, a mathematics teacher at Imagbon/Imaka Comprehensive High School in Ogun State, has shown exceptional commitment to educational excellence. An alumnus of Tai Solarin University of Education, one of Nigeria’s leading teacher training institutions, Kayode’s innovative teaching methods and dedication have garnered both national and international recognition.

In a fitting tribute, the Ogun State government under the Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, led administration has appointed Kayode Adewale as the Ogun State Education Ambassador. To celebrate this prestigious accomplishment, the government will provide him with a bungalow of his choice within the state and a cash prize of ₦5,000,000 to further support his inspiring work in education.
