Lawyer’s And Youths Storm Lagos Streets For Protests Over Alleged Forceful Take Over Of Abu Abel’s Land By Tinubu
The supporters and lawyer of a popular Lagos socialite and philanthropist, Olasheni Adeyinka Johnson Egbarin, popularly known as Abu Abel, has on Tuesday, 6th of February 2024, storm the street of Lagos enroute to Government House, to demand justice for the socialite over unlawfully attempts to take ownership of his land that he purchase years back by the Lagos State Government, and President Bola Tinubu’s son, Seyi.
The protesters were seen carrying a play card, with the inscriptions of “Justice for Abu Abel”, and another one written as “Tell Tinubu To Leave Abu Abel Land”. Speaking to newsmen on reasons for the peaceful protest, a popular skit maker, nick named Baba Orobo, said; we are not here to fight, we are for a peaceful protest to support and demand justice for our beloved brother, Abel, and also to called the attention of the Lagos State Government for their unlawfully attempts to take ownership of his landed property.
“We are here to show our solidarity and plead to Lagos State Government, to remove their hands from the illegal attempts to take ownership of the land so as to avoid blood shed in the area”, another protester said

Recall that Abu Abel, a real estate mogul and CEO of Obimzy Properties, in some days ago announced an ongoing effort to forcefully take over his landed property at Ologolo in Lekki II, Lagos State. In a video circulating online, the music executives where seen crying out to Nigerians for justice and calls out Lagos state Govt, Seyi Tinubu, and President Tinubu for snatching the land he bought 6 years ago in Lagos.
In a statement by Lawyers against Land-grabbers during the protest monitored by Genesis Media Hub, it was alleged that the Chief of Staff to Governor Sanwo-Olu, Mr. Tayo Ayinde and head of Lagos State Task Force, CSP Shola Jejeloye are behind it with instruction to fence it round and hand over the key to Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu.
