PWD Leaders Declare Support For FAECO, Embrace Her Vision Of Inclusive Representation
The campaign of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the House of Representatives, Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency, 2027, Hon. Olufunmilayo Efuwape, popularly known as FAECO, received a significant boost on Friday as a delegation of Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) across the Remo Federal Constituency paid her a solidarity visit at her Campaign Office in Sagamu.
The delegation, led by the Ogun State Women Leader of the PWD community, Mrs. Grace Omowunmi, officially congratulated Hon. Efuwape on her emergence as the APC candidate and declared their support for her ahead of the 2027 general elections. Mrs. Omowunmi commended FAECO for her consistent compassion, hospitality and support for members of the PWD community, noting that her relationship with the group existed long before she secured the party’s ticket.

She expressed confidence in FAECO’s capacity to provide purposeful grassroots representation and effective legislative leadership, describing her emergence as a welcome development for the people of the constituency. The PWD leader assured the APC candidate and other candidates of the party of their support and participation in the forthcoming elections.
Responding, Hon. Efuwape thanked the delegation for their solidarity and confidence in her aspiration, reaffirming her commitment to a political journey built on inclusion and collective participation. She explained that her campaign philosophy, “Ijoba Ajumose,” represents a commitment to ensuring that every segment of society is recognised, heard and carried along in the process of governance.
FAECO further assured the PWD community of her continued support, stressing that meaningful representation must accommodate the diverse needs, experiences and aspirations of the people. According to her, the journey towards the Green Chamber is one of shared purpose, where every voice matters, every individual counts, and no community should be left behind in the collective pursuit of a better future.
