Remo 2025: Sagamu APC Launches Vibrant Campaign Rally For House Of Representatives By-Election

History was not merely written today; it was deeply felt in the heart of Sagamu as the All Progressives Congress (APC) kicked off its campaign for the Remo Federal Constituency by-election. The rally was marked by electric enthusiasm, with party supporters turning out in droves across wards, as the campaign specifically held today August 6, 2025, in Ward 11, and go straight down to Ward 14, then to Ward 15, and ended in Ward 1. It was not just a political campaign; it was a grassroots movement grounded in credibility and driven by the unwavering support of the people.
The atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation as enthusiastic crowds surrounded the campaign train, celebrating a collective endorsement of the APC and its candidate, Hon. (Dr.) Princess Adesola Ayoola Elegbeji. The event transformed the streets of Sagamu into a vibrant carnival of loyalty and a heartfelt declaration of support for their chosen representative.

Echoing the collective spirit, Ogun’s Honorable Commissioner for Special Duties, Hon. Mrs. Olufunmilayo Efuwape, fondly known as FAECO, implored all party faithful to mobilize their polling units. Emphasizing the importance of voting, she articulated the potential for continued development in Remo Land with Elegbeji at the National Assembly.
Former Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Hon. Daisi Akintan, passionately urged the electorate to support the APC while condemning rival parties for offering hollow promises. He encouraged constituents to remain steadfast and focused on substantive progress for their community.
Current Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Afolabi Odulate, lent his voice to the rally, detailing why Hon. Elegbeji is the exemplary candidate for this election, highlighting her impressive track record of community service and commitment.
In his address, the party chairman, Pa. Rafiu Opaleye, reassured supporters of a victorious outcome, encouraging them to maintain their courage as they prepare for the upcoming election. His message of unity and resilience resonated powerfully throughout the crowd.
Alhaji Luqman Adunmo, Director General of the Campaign Council, expressed gratitude toward all attendees and urged party members to maintain solidarity as they prepare for the August 16 elections, affirming that their unity would bring assured victory.
The party’s candidate, Hon. Princess Dr. Adesola Ayoola Elegbeji, expressed profound gratitude to Governor Dapo Abiodun, party leaders, and dedicated grassroots mobilizers for making the rally a resounding success.
