Remo Youth Association (RYA) Inaugurates New Executives, As Comrade Muyiwa Osularu Leads Newly Sworn-In Officers For 2026–2028 Tenure

The Remo Youth Association (RYA) on Sunday, May 17, 2026, officially inaugurated its newly elected executives during a colorful and well-attended ceremony held at the revered Alaperu Palace in Iperu Remo, Ikenne Local Government Area.
The inauguration marks the commencement of the Association’s 5th executive administration since the establishment of the organization, with the new leadership set to pilot the affairs of the association from 2026 to 2028.
Leading the newly inaugurated executives is Comrade Muyiwa Osularu, who emerged as Chairman of the Association. Other members of the executive council inaugurated at the event include:

2. Com. Akande Oluwaseun Ifedayo — Vice Chairman I
3. Com. Fadimu Olusola Yusuf — Vice Chairman II
4. Com. Saliu Olamide Daniel — Secretary
5. Com. Amusan Afusat — Financial Secretary
6. Com. Oluwaseyi Adewale Kujore — Treasurer
7. Com. Ezekiel Olaotan Taiwo — Assistant Secretary
8. Com. Allibanjo Owolabi Tomiwa — Auditor
9. Com. Olajide Sulaimon Lawal — Chief Whip
10. Com. Ogunnusi Abdulazeez — Organizing Secretary
11. Com. Onadeko Ayomide Olalekan — Public Relations Officer (PRO)
12. Com. Ebunoluwa Fiyinfoluwa — Social Secretary
13. Com. Femi Sofowora — Sports Director
Speaking during the inauguration ceremony, Chairman of the Association, Comrade Muyiwa Osularu, expressed profound appreciation to members of the association for the confidence reposed in the newly elected executives. He pledged that the administration would prioritize unity, youth development, community engagement, and purposeful leadership throughout its tenure.
Osularu also emphasized the importance of collective responsibility among youths in advancing the socio-cultural and developmental interests of Remo land, assuring members that the new executives would remain transparent, accountable, and committed to the ideals upon which the association was founded.
The event also featured an official and symbolic handing-over ceremony, during which vital documents, records, and administrative materials of the association were formally transferred from the immediate past executives led by Comrade Bidemi Solarin to the newly inaugurated administration under the leadership of Comrade Muyiwa Osularu.
In his remarks during the event, Vice Chairman I, Comrade Akande Oluwaseun Ifedayo, delivered the vote of thanks, appreciating dignitaries, community leaders, past executives, members, and guests who graced the historic occasion. He reaffirmed the readiness of the new administration to work harmoniously for the continued progress and growth of the association.
The inauguration ceremony attracted several prominent personalities, including past chairmen of the association, respected community leaders, youth stakeholders, traditional representatives, and supporters from across Remo land, all of whom commended the peaceful transition and democratic process within the association.
The successful inauguration further reflects the continued commitment of the Remo Youth Association toward strengthening youth participation, leadership development, and community advancement across the Remo axis of Ogun State.
