Tragedy Strikes Fuji Icon K1 De Ultimate As He Loses His Beloved Mother At Age 105

In a heartbreaking turn of events, Fuji music legend Wasiu Omogbolahan Olasunkanmi Adewale Ayinde Marshal, widely known as K1 De Ultimate, has lost his biological mother, Alhaja Halima Shadiya Anifowoshe, to the cold hands of death. She passed away at the remarkable age of 105.
This loss comes just days after K1 De Ultimate mourned the death of his ex-wife, Alhaja Hafsat Anifowoshe, who died in the early hours of Wednesday, January 15, at the age of 65 from undisclosed causes. As it stands, the 67-year-old K1 De Ultimate now finds himself without both parents.The announcement of Alhaja Halima’s passing was made via Goldmyne’s official Instagram page on January 18, 2024. The post read: “K1 De Ultimate Loses Mum. Music Maestro, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal has lost his adorable mother, Alhaja Halima Shadiya Anifowoshe. She was aged 105. May her soul rest in peace.”

As news of the tragedy spread, many Nigerians flocked to the comments section to express their condolences and support for K1 De Ultimate during this difficult time, highlighting the profound impact his mother had on his life and career.
Meanwhile, the fuji maestro as also bragged in a leaked video where he had a phone call with President Bola Tinubu, saying he cannot “suffer” in Nigeria as long as Tinubu is president and he (Ayinde) remains “omo Asiwaju.” In the phone call, Ayinde said, “She went to meet her sister in heaven; they will meet themselves there and be holding meetings.” President Tinubu, offering words of comfort, in Yoruba said: “You will live long; God will not let you suffer.”
Responding, Wasiu said, “Since you are there, how can I suffer? You are my father, the president of a country. I cannot suffer — not in this Nigeria that you control.”
