Ijoku Born Comrade Saliu Olamide Daniel Owoseni (Genesis) Emerges As Remo Youth Association (RYA) Elected General Secretary In Keenly Contested Election

Comrade Saliu Olamide Daniel Owoseni, popularly known as Genesis, has been officially declared the newly elected General Secretary of the Remo Youth Association (RYA) following a closely contested election held today, April 30, 2026.
Genesis, a prominent and dedicated member of the Ijoku Community Youth Association, secured a decisive victory with a total of 50 votes, defeating his opponent, Olaniyi Saheed Olawale of the Ijagba Community, who garnered 37 votes. The results were formally announced by the Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Mr. Sesan Agbolade, amid commendations for a transparent and credible electoral process.
The election, which drew participation from youth delegates across Remo Land, reflected the democratic spirit and collective commitment of the association to progressive leadership and effective representation. Genesis’ emergence is widely seen as a testament to his longstanding dedication to youth development, grassroots mobilization, and community engagement.
