Community Leaders, OPC Groups, Arewa Community Pledge Support For Hon. Olufunmilayo Efuwape’s 2027 House Of Representatives Bid
The 2027 candidate for Member, House of Representatives, Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency, Hon. Mrs. Olufunmilayo Efuwape, popularly known as FAECO, on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, held a series of strategic engagements with key traditional and community stakeholders across Remo Land at her Campaign Office in Sagamu, Ogun State.
The engagements featured a meeting with the leadership of the Association of the Oloritun and Olori Ilu from various communities across Remo Land, as well as a separate meeting with the Joint Coalition of the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) across Remo. The groups expressed their support and pledged their commitment to the FAECO political movement ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In another remarkable show of support, the Arewa Community in Ikenne Remo presented a brand-new vehicle specially branded for the FAECO political movement. The presentation further reflected the growing grassroots support and acceptance of her aspiration across diverse communities and groups within the Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency.
The series of engagements reinforced the importance of unity, inclusive participation and collaboration among traditional institutions, community leaders and grassroots organisations in the collective pursuit of purposeful representation. As preparations towards 2027 continue to gather momentum, the meetings marked another significant step in FAECO’s ongoing consultations and engagements with critical stakeholders across Remo Land.
