Engr. Olusola Fadipe Lauds Governor Dapo Abiodun’s Progress On Gateway International Airport
Engr. Olusola Fadipe, popularly known as Peterfad and the S.A to the Governor on Parks and Gardens, has praised Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, the Executive Governor of Ogun State, for his remarkable achievements at the Gateway International Airport, currently under construction in Ilishan Remo. During a recent courtesy visit to the construction site on June 19, 2025, Fadipe assessed the progress of the airport’s development and expressed his satisfaction with the advancements made since his last visit. He observed that significant infrastructural enhancements have taken shape, a clear indication of the governor’s commitment to realizing this vital project.
“What I am witnessing today is a testament to the indefatigable spirit of our governor,” Peterfad remarked. “On my previous visit, many essential infrastructures were absent, but now I am thrilled to see the transformation the governor has spearheaded. This airport is poised to be not only the best in Nigeria but also a leading facility in Africa, meeting international standards.”
Fadipe emphasized the transformative impact the Gateway International Airport will have on Remo Land and Ogun State at large. He highlighted the potential boost in economic activities, job creation, and enhanced connectivity that the airport will provide upon its completion.
