A bonafide comrade and cabinet member of Remo Youth Association -RYA, Comr. Adetayo Olufemi escaped a robbery attack by mob allegedly reported to be cult gang in Ogijo.

Genesis Media Hub gathered that the incident occured in the morning of today, Friday, May 10th, 2024, just before Phoenix Steel Company and between Kadesh Petroleum Station, in Ogijo, Sagamu area of Ogun State.

While narrating how the robbery incident occurs to our news correspondent, Olufemi stated that the mob who was reported to be cultist threw an iron steel down from a lorry that was carrying several iron damages, in order to stopped cars from moving, and for them to carried out their operations.

The RYA Sport Director, Adetayo Olufemi, stated that all cars was stopped from moving during the incident, making him to rushed down from his vehicle and ran away for his safety, while narrating that he was chased, beaten and wounded by the mob before the chieftain of the community comes to his rescue, with his car been also got damages by the mob.

He also added that there was Ogijo Police Division just minutes away from the scene where he was almost robbed and that when he had reported to the officers what almost happened to him, they expressed sympathy, and also leads him to the base of the mob, where two of them was arrested and detained by the police officers.

He’s now using this medium to call on the general public to help him seek justice in the case, as the gang leader of the mob were rumored to be lobbying the Police Division for settlement, bail and freedom of the mob, without any justice.
