In a proactive effort to enhance the future of the youths in Remo Land, the Remo Youth Association (RYA), in collaboration with its Board of Trustees (BOT), held a strategic meeting on October 22, 2024, at the Governor’s Conference Hall in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, Ogun State, marking a significant milestone in Remo Land’s youths development.
Led by Hon. Mrs. Ronke Soyombo, who serves as both the Head of the Remo Growth Development Foundation (RGDF) for Education and Youth Empowerment and Special Advisor on Education to the Ogun State Governor, the meeting aimed to address the pressing challenges faced by the youth of Remo Land in anticipation of Remo Day 2024, the Remo Youth Day and many others.
Genesis Media Hub recalled that the RYA led by it’s Chairman, Comr. Bidemi Solarin, has some weeks ago released a press statement after a crucial meetings with RGDF executives which ended in a deadlock between both parties, alleging the Foundation’s for sidelining the youths of the community in every activities, making the Foundation’s to reschedule another meeting with the Youths focusing on the future and development of the Youths in Remo Land.

Attendees expressed commitment to ensuring that the aspirations and needs of Remo Youths are prioritized in planning and execution of upcoming initiatives.
This strategic gathering reflects the determination of the Remo Youth Association and its partners to create a brighter and more inclusive future for the youth of Remo Land, highlighting the needs for empowering Remo youths through education and skills development, enhancing youth participation in community development, and strengthening partnerships between Remo Youth Association, RemoGDF, the royal fathers, community leaders and many more.
