Ogededudu Carnival Lights Up Sagamu With Unforgettable Performances And Community Spirit

The Ogededudu Carnival 2025 hosted by the Ogededudu Youth Development Association, electrified the streets of Sabo Sagamu on January 3rd, 2024, peacefully delivering an amazing night filled with music, performances, and a sense of community. The highly anticipated event drew night lovers from all walks of life, culminating in a vibrant celebration that showcased the heart and soul of the neighborhood.

Headlining the night was the world-renowned disc jockey DJ Damrex, who took to the stage with his exceptional skills on the turntables, spinning infectious tunes that had the audience dancing and celebrating until the early hours. His ability to blend sounds and energize the crowd reflected the spirit of the event, leaving attendees buzzing with excitement.

The carnival also spotlighted several prominent members of the Ogededudu Youth Development Association (OYDA), including Seun Olatayo (Sewene), Olamilekan Albert (Bobo), Oladayo D1, Yusuf Odunuga (Yusluv), Stephen Pirlo, and KB Cambiaso. These local icons showcased their commitment to their community, demonstrating a deep-rooted love for their roots and engaging with attendees throughout the night.

Comr. Rasaq Mohammed, popularly known as Olowo and youth chairman of OYDA, officially opened the carnival. He emphasized that the event was designed for everyone to enjoy and urged attendees to maintain peace and order while reveling in the celebration. Olowo reassured attendees of the presence of security personnel to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all.
