A Non Governmental Organization (NGO) based in Sagamu, area of Ogun State, Ennyade Concept has further reiterated its commitment towards enhancing vocational training of the youths as it graduate over 200 trainees at the Ennyade Concept Skills and Acquisition Training, held at Kingʼs Avenue Hotel in Makun Sagamu, Ogun State.
The skills acquisition programs which includes Barbing, Dred making, Hairdressing, Make over, Cake and Confectioneries, Decoration, Nails, Pedicure and Manicure, was said to optimized the development potential to significantly improve rural livelihoods, have a multiplier effect on the youths and eventually deal with abject poverty, early pregnancies and high school drop-outs among other challenges.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony held on Saturday 6th March, 2023, the CEO and Founder of Ennyade Concept, Miss Enitan Adenuga popularly known as Ayaʼba, reiterated the commitment of the organization in keeping to its promises as the Graduation Ceremony witnessed the presentation of certificates, vocational start up cash, tools and equipments to the graduands in different skills categories, to established their businesses for the purpose of making themself reliant/Entrepreneur rather than being job seekers and to reduce the possibility of them becoming idle hands in the devil’s workshop.
She added that, the intervention and support is the first of it’s kind, but the difference is that, this is the highest number of students to be so trained in different skills in this organization since it’s inception which she described as unprecedented.
Miss Adenuga further reiterated that, as a responsible and responsive woman she is in the society, through her organization, Ennyade Concept, shall continue to invest in programmes and projects that will propel sustainable development and make our teeming youth more self-reliant and prosperous, as she appealed to all and sundry, sons and daughters of our dear community, Sagamu, Remo and Ogun State at large to continue to support this organization in the overall interest of our teeming youths and Nigeria at large because this achievement is going to be a tip of iceberg compared to what is yet to be unveiled in the subsequent activities of the organization because self employment, entrepreneurship, farming and innovation are the key to sustainable development and growth.
The founder, Ayaʼba in her conclusions, appealed to all youths mostly the ladies to never look down on themselves but stand up and take challenging tasks widely deemed to be male dominated, noting the graduates are poised to set up small units of businesses that will empower them economically but also replicate the skills to fellow youths who have not gone through the training.
